Has 26 years experience in multi faceted O&G Upstream Business. A strong technical background in petroleum geology both exploration and exploitation and complemented with strong leadership attributes. Has vast experiences of prospecting in mature areas and evaluation of new acreages as well as managing producing assets.

More than five years lead a group of experts in geology and geophysics both national and expatriates to generate, evaluate and implement exploration programs in four different PSCs. Four years lead an Asset Team of 23 sizeable fields that successfully increased production.
Well exposed in all “business aspects” of O&G industry, three years tenure managing corporate planning and budget team, coupled with experience during ChevronTexaco merger. Gain in depth business exposures to the Legacy Chevron Operations in 1995-1996 key business processes such as Planning and Budgeting, Global Exploration Evaluation, Strategic Decision Analysis and Project management.

Latest position (2005) was a General Manager Exploration with PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia, responsible of generating and executing efficient exploration work programs of 3 PSC Blocks and Evaluate New Ventures of Makassar DW, East Java and Timor Sea. Certified as “Chief Prospector” by MIGAS.

(Oil and Gas Prod.Optimization specialist)

He has most 20 years experience and is specialist in oil field with artificial lift system and optimization with mostly in Gas Lift Wells, both onshore and offshore. Thousands wells had been designed and optimized for the Asia – Pacific Region, such as India, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.

The last three years, had been contracted BP – Indonesia to optimized and designed the BP-Indonesia gas lift wells with average total gains is about 4500 bopd. It is for hundreds gas lift offshore wells. Responsible for all operation both office, workshop, and field operations.

In the 1986 – 1990: Handle for ASPAC for all operation of gas lift both design and optimization, under Teledyne Merla. Responsible for both, office job, workshop, and field job. Hundreds wells had been designed and optimized during this period.

In 1990 – 1998: Handle for ASPAC for all gas lift operation both office job, workshop, and field job under Halliburton. Hundreds wells had been designed and optimized during this period.
In the 1998 – 1999: Design and Optimize for about 40 wells for Thaipo gas lift offshore well, Thailand. Responsible for both office, workshop, and offshore operations.

 

Center of Expertise RESERVOIR AND PETROLEUM ENGINEERING
Rinaldi Imran, BS.MS

In his earlier carrier he spent more than 9 years as a reservoir and production engineer doing reservoir performance evaluations, Enchanced Oil Recovery, water flooding development and evaluation, attics wells development, chemical flooding development, reservoir characterizations, reservoir simulation for horizontal wells, thermal recovery, chemical flooding and production engineering for several onshore oil and gas fields.

Later for more than 5 years he was involved in the geological and reservoir evaluations of some oil and gas assets throughout Indonesia in relation with the plan of development of the assets considering the economic parameters.

He is now leading a group engineers as Chief Petroleum Engineer to conduct preparation in evaluating several mature/brown fields with respect to the reactivation of these onshore suspended oil and gas field.

He received some achievement awards from Caltex Pacific Indonesia as well as Department of Petroleum Engineering, Bandung Institute of Technology and Trisakti University.
